1st African-Centered Cohort-Training and Certification

This is an intensive 10-hour certification process that will focus on the history, theory, methodology, and philosophy of the Cultural Misorientation Paradigm in African-Centered Providers who seek to understand and apply advances in African-Centered Psychology, treatment and interventions to clients of African descent. This Training-Cohort will be facilitated by Dr. Reginald Hopkins – Chair of the Department of Psychology at Virginia State University and Olufemi Shepsu M.S.W., School Social Worker-Richmond Public Schools and the Vice President of the Richmond Association of Black Social Workers.

The Cohort will take place on the Historic Campus of Virginia State University in the Hunter-McDaniel Building. All participants will receive an Official Training Certificate at the conclusion of the Cohort-training.
